The Perfect Ball of Bands, for Short-Term Banding only
The rubber band ball is the perfect size for my daily needs at work. I predict the ball will last atleast a year. The bands are all about the same width and length. They are about six inches in circumference, stretching to over twelve inches. They are not thin and dry like some of the bands I bought in the past; I don't believe these bands will break easily. They also come in five colors, which is great for bundles requiring color-coding.
Edit to review: After using the rubber bands for 9 months, the bands keep snapping and breaking on my fingers. OUCH! And many of the bundles of receipts I banded have broken apart. This is probably normal for rubber bands. So I think this big ball of bands is only good for someone who plans to use them all within 6 months. And they are only to be used for short-term storage. Do not bundle records or other items that will be in storage for long-term.

This ball was purchased August 6, 2014 from Amazon.com and received August 12, 2014. It has hardly been used. When I attempted to get a few rubber bands from the ball yesterday, three of them broke immediately. I noticed that the remaining bands on the ball are starting to disintegrate. I suspect that the seller (Amazon.com LLC) sold an old product. I have been using these balls of rubber bands for many years, and I have never experienced a problem with any other ball. It was made in Thailand, but there was no date on the box. It simply had the code letters #72155. I will never order this product again online. I will purchase it in a store, where I can inspect the quality of the rubber bands before I purchase it.

I like the concept of a rubber bands in a convenient ball.
When I first received them, I was initially pleased. Purchased in late November, it is now mid February of the following year.
As I am getting thru the rubber band ball, I find they snap and break even before surrounding an object. Considering the price, I cannot justify recommending them.
In many cases, they don't seem to stretch much as well.
