4Works great but a little pain to clean
    By R. Juran
If you have the base this is well worth the investment. I have a thing for kitchen gadgets and I use everything I own. I like to make my own fruit/nut/protein bars and until recently had to hand mix and use a blender when possible. My wife and I already had the blender which is great, and we have a Kitchen-Aide stand mixer with all the attachments, but didn't have a food processor. We didn't want another full appliance to take up more space, so I found this and it is small enough to be put out of the way, but has a large enough capacity that I can make a big amount of bars or guac or hummus and so on.

The only drawback is food can get down into the processor blade and be a real pain to clean unless you have a baby bottle brush of sorts. If you are using stick items like dried fruit, soak the parts on hot, soapy water first for a good while to get the gunk loosened up. Otherwise you'll be fishing a rag or brush in there trying to get all the food out.

Capacity wise it is spot on, although if you are mixing something that will chunk up pretty well and you'll need to hold the mixer down since it will want to buck on high speeds. I haven't noticed any excess heat from mixing heavy ingredients, and the blades have stayed really sharp even after 2 dozen uses of everything from beans to nuts mixed in dried fruit.

If you want a food processor that will work with your Cuisinart base, this would be it. No point in getting a separate appliance!

5this is a great addition to my blender
    By Edda
this is a great addition to my blender. I previously had a cuisinart mini food processor, but after many, many years of use, the motor burned out. I didn't want to find another appliance due to lack of storage space, but I didn't want another mini. Thought I'd give this a try. I have used it to grate cheese (does a fabulous job) and grind up other veggies for dips and sauces. So far, so good. If it lasts as long as my mini, it will be well worth it.

4Works great for chopping, small batch dips.
    By Barret Ferm
I've had this about a year, mostly make hummus with chopper blade, for which it works great. No problems, but slight design flaw with the slicer and grater modes, in that the gap between the blade(s) and the cover is so large that the food material does not get processed completely and you are left with a significant chunk of it when it has done all it will do.
